I never cease to be amazed by the quickness and slight of hand of second born....take two socks, two perfectly ordinary socks, add one baby in a car seat, (strapped in..did this myself...checked the straps...no way she could have undone them herself) in a relatively confined area then travel for five minutes to nursery.

Ta ta ta ta daaaa...only one sock...and the other one cannot be found anywhere in the car. No doors or windows have been opened and I don't think she has learnt how to digest good quality cotton yet.

Watch out Derren Brown....

Edit:Yup..the first place I checked when I got home was the washing machine.......not there either.

Spent the morning dashing to get to the swimming baths for 8:30am, only to be told when we got there that lessons don't start again until next week. "Drat and bother" we were heard to cry. So we had a completely empty swimming pool to ourselves until a little boy (older than Rachael, prob about 9ish) joined us in our pool and asked if he could join in the game . (At this point we were throwing a ball to each other) We played catch (or in Rachael's case, splash Mum by throwing the ball just short of her) and then we played pig in the middle. Then back home to prepare dinner for two small friends before we went to the show. After we had eaten, the third friend arrived (doesn't like chicken....must find eating difficult, as we all know, most things taste like chicken), we left in the dismal rain for the panto...oh no we didn't...oh yes we did. The show was very good and a good time was had by all, including Lucy who bobbed up and down during the singing, and clapped her hands during the applause! The girls' favourite joke was "Why do the Telly Tubbies all go to the toilet together?" Pregnant pause to let you think about that one. Then back home with them all singing supacallifragi....etc etc as loudly as they could. Peace has now descended and I'm off upstairs to watch some rubbish TV with D.
